Calling all chefs! We need you!

Miss Bower is running a special One World Week competition. She would like you to write a recipe for an international dish. It could be food from the country of your family, somewhere you have visited, or simply a meal that you love to make from another country.

There will be a special prize for the winner.

Please give your recipe to Miss Bower by the end of the week- we would love to see lots of entries!

Following our recent successful comic competition, where you all surpassed yourselves with some funny and well-written comic strips, we are opening a new competition. A recipe competition!

We all love a slice of cake, but if you're the kind of person with a taste for thinking up the recipe behind them, this competition is for you! We are looking for any kind of recipe- it could be a favourite, or it could be one you recently wrote. Remember, it has to be your own recipe- simply copying from somewhere is definitely not permitted. You are allowed to change a recipe you have found, perhaps adding things to it, and then making it your own. You must make sure it is in your own words. This is a great opportunity for budding cooks- so please ask us if you are interested! Good luck!
